Executive Director

Judi Beckett

Judi founded We Are New Voices in April 2007. She brings years of experience as an educator at various Houston-area schools.

Beckett received her Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of Houston, after attending the London College of Communications.

Steve Jolly

Steve is a Houston businessman and former radio presenter.

Khouloud Khammassi

Khouloud a graduate of our program and a former Fulbright Scholar. She is currently attending graduate school at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Jeron Ravin

Jeron is a talented communicator who possesses an impressive intellectual curiosity and foresight, and ambition to serve his community.

Educated at Howard University in Washington DC, Jeron received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism at the well-regarded John H. Johnson School of Communications. He went on to work for a Fortune 500 company in Dallas, Texas before returning to the field of communications. Jeron currently serves as the Communications Director for Houston City Council Member Wanda Adams while also pursuing a Masters of Business Administration.

Jeron was involved with as many as nine non-profits and local public schools in Washington DC, Dallas, and Houston, serving in various capacities including as young counselor, mentor, and motivational speaker. A combination of his passion to see at-risk youth overcome adversity and the firm belief that communication can shape the lives of everyone we encounter provides an agenda to move We Are New Voices forward.
